These procedures affect only students still residing abroad. Non-EU citizens already legally residing in Italy can access universities, academies and conservatories on equal terms with Italian and EU citizens. The pre-enrollment application from abroad should be submitted using the UNIVERSITALY website and, once validated by the chosen university, should be presented to the Italian consulate to apply for an entry visa. With the visa, one can come to Italy to take the Italian test and the eventual course entrance test.
